Checkpoint registering

In order to carry out control activities, the registration of locations is essential. Mobitraxx offers different technologies for identifying locations as checkpoints. See which ones can be used in CONTROL activities. It is possible to read GEO, QR Code, NFC and BEACON checkpoints in the same round.

GEO checkpoint

The red icons on the map are GEO locations. The blue arrow or dot indicates the location of the device. Mobitraxx admits a reading tolerance of 20 meters / 65 feet around the site. If the user tries to read the checkpoint outside the tolerance area, Mobitraxx indicates how far the user is from the checkpoint area.

STANDARD MODE - To read a GEO checkpoint in this mode, it is necessary to click on it. Once this is done, Mobitraxx issues a confirmation.

STEALTH MODE – activate this mode to read GEO checkpoints automatically, it is enough to pass by the checkpoint to record it. The phone may have the screen locked, inside the pocket or inside a vehicle and will work easily. However, the application must be with the CONTROL function activated in the background to allow the stealth mode operation.

NFC checkpoint

Bring the device closer to the NFC tag to read, around 3 cm / 1 inch .

Beacon checkpoint

The beacon can be recognized from a few meters away, even if the device has the screen locked. However, the CONTROL function must be operating in the background. Thus, the user can keep the device in his pocket and does not need to do anything to read it. When reading the beacon, Mobitraxx will emit a characteristic audible and vibrating signal.

Performing rounds

At the expected time for the round, the execution screen will show the time countdown. Record the checkpoints to complete the round.

Performing attendances

Record the checkpoint at the expected time for attendance.

Recording the length of stay

When reading a checkpoint with a programmed stay time, a countdown of the predicted time begins, with the counter in blue.

Once the stay time has elapsed, the counter starts to set the time progressively, with the first minute, in orange, being the standard tolerance time.

Once the tolerance time is over, the counter starts counting the time exceeded in red.

In order to end the stay time count, you must register the checkpoint again, thus ending the time count.

The stay will be considered unfulfilled if your count is interrupted by any of the following reasons:

- app closing;

- leave the CONTROL screen;

- record a different checkpoint than the one that started counting the time.

The stay record does not work for BEACON checkpoints.
